[1.3.0] - Release Notes

This release updates the SelphID biometric engine from 6.10.2 to SelphID 6.17.0. The main advantage is the use of SelphID's facial flavor, which avoids installing liveness-related models and libraries that are unnecessary for this backend. Other changes that may affect this service include:

  • Use SelphID flavor:facial, which reduces the size of the distribution by not including liveness libraries and models.
  • Fixed the problem of calculating the biometric pattern in cropped images.
  • More accurate at extracting biometric patterns from poor-quality images.
  • Face pattern extractor with low resolution images.
  • Fixed issue extracting biometric pattern from multi-face documents.
  • Fixed templateRaw cropping when use tokenized images with ExtractFacialWithRawTemplate().
  • Internal minimum IOD (interocular distance) has been reduced from 30px to 20px.
  • Support for EXIF orientation metadata.
